15.5" Antique French Silver Necklace, Vintage Filigree Choker Necklace

Lightweight and comfortable, this chain is the perfect way to add a sophisticated element to elevate your outfit. It features beautifully crafted filigree navette links which are connected by light and airy trace chain. Almost certainly cut down from a longer sautoir chain, it is now the perfect modern length to comfortably graze your collar bone. It represents an effortless and stylish choice. Hallmarked with a boar's head, this antique chain is crafted from high quality 800-900 silver, standard for the period. It was likely crafted at the end of the 19th century and bears all of the beautiful detailing we've come to expect from pieces of the era. The spring ring is a more recent addition and has excellent tension and alignment.
