15" Antique Silver Filigree Medallion Link Choker Necklace, late Victorian c. 1900

I adore this style of specialty chain as carries such a unique 'of-the-era' design. Crafted from high quality 800 silver, this timeless sautoir can elevate any outfit. It features beautifully worked filigree crafted from long strands which were twisted to give a textured effect. It is rather short, so check measurements to make sure it will fit. It would more likely be worn as a choker unless you have a very thin neck. Hallmarked with a crab, it was assayed in the departments outside of Paris, likely around the turn of the 20th century. Despite it's long history the spring ring is original to the chain, in excellent condition, with good tension and alignment. It's a great and unique piece for any lover of antiques.
