17" Antique Silver French Watch Chain Choker Necklace

Thick and heavy with a spectacular over-sized bolt ring, this antique watch chain is a great piece or any collection. The chain has a very unique twisted design with textured connecting links and a functional bolt ring and dog clip clasp. These are great functional pieces which can be doubles and worn as a bracelet or worn as a close fitting necklace which graces the collarbone. The chain is composed of 800-900 silver and hallmarked with two illegible hallmarks; as such the chain has been acid tested to verify. Despite the chain's age the links are in excellent condition and very strong. The bolt ring will need to be pushed into place as the tension has been affected by years of use but still has good alignment and holds well. A beautiful patina remains to show the authenticity of the piece. A versatile and well-crafted piece in excellent condition.
