Beautifully worked with an impressive level of craftsmanship, this drapery necklace will make you feel like the society girl it once adorned. I love these antique filigree pieces, crafted by hand, and twisted into the most exquisite shapes. This drapery features eleven triangle drapes with interior filigree work that has been decorated with milgrain beading. One of the stylistic details that make this piece unique is the juxtaposition of the flowing filigree against the harder lines of the triangular links. I love the balance and the contrast between these two ideas. Long rectangular bars filled with twisted pillar interiors finish the look and a spring ring at the neck keeps this beautiful heirloom piece securely in place. The links have been inspected for wear and have been found to be strong and in good condition. The only condition notes are some light tarnish to the spring ring and micro-scratches to the gold. A lovely antique piece which has been crafted with care and will elevate any outfit.
