18K Art Deco Rose Cut Diamond and Ruby Halo Ring, Antique French White Gold Antique Ring with Diamonds and Rubies c. 1920

This stunning Art Deco engagement ring features seven diamond chips surrounded by a halo of synthetic, calibrated rubies. This design, with the diamonds set in white gold, was meant to reflect light back making the cluster appear as one large diamond. The setting and band are also white gold, which compliments the diamonds and rubies brilliantly. The ring bears an owl hallmark on the band, indicating at least 18k gold purity. A very special piece from a special bygone era, this would make a spectacular engagement ring or is a very versatile piece for every day wear. With the strength of the rubies and diamonds it is very wearable and durable for many years to come.
