18K Art Nouveau Filigree Chain, 1900s French Antique Gold Necklace with Navette links

This beautifully worked filigree chain comes from the Art Nouveau period in France. Created during a period of the height of skill and craftsmanship, the chain is rendered from 18k yellow gold and features popular filigree navettes connected by trace chain. Although it is light weight and comfortable, it is not delicate. The links have been inspected and remain strong and in good condition. The spring ring works well with good tension and alignment. The chain has a lovely, rich buttery color from the patina of time and remains a spectacular example of French workmanship from many years ago.
