These beautiful Victorian sleeper earrings are delicately decorated but heavier than the average sleeper earrings which makes them easier to fasten. Crafted from high quality 18k yellow gold, they are hallmarked with an eagle head and inlaid with a small,central cushion cut diamond. A pinwheel halo of hand engraved work surrounds the diamond. There are small accidents to the earrings, including a fissure on on earring, as well as some damage to the sides of the earrings, visible in photos if you look carefully. However, they fasten securely and as you can see from pictures, it's difficult to spot when the earrings are being worn. They are a very unique and beautiful piece which fasten securely so that you can keep this heirloom safe for many years to come.
