These charming Art Nouveau sleeper earrings were crafted in the early 1900s. Delicately adorned with a floral pattern featuring natural seed pearls, the center is encased in a twisted 18k gold frame. They are marked with an eagle head, guaranteeing a purity of at least 18k gold.
CONDITION NOTES:
The earrings likely used to secure at the top, typical for the period, but were adapted into leverback closures. This conversion is visible at the top of one earring where the former top rivet shows signs of soldering. Both hinges work flawlessly, ensuring a secure fit so you don't lose these lovely pieces. Two of the pearls on one earring have lost some of their pearlescence.
