18k Rose Art Deco Floral Drop Earrings, Antique French Floral Earrings

These lovely early Art Deco earrings are full of charm. Featuring a rosy gold geometric frame which surrounds a small rose and finely crafted leaves, they have a classic feminine charm. The earrings close with an early leverback closure popular at the turn of the century in which the hinge passes through the back of the ear and attaches to a rivet at the top of the earring. They were both repaired at the base at some point, one earring bears some soldering marks, and the hallmarks were erased with the repair. They have been tested for 18k gold purity which is the standard for France during this period. They are in otherwise excellent condition. Small and lightweight, they are very comfortable to wear all day and are a lovely compliment to any outfit.
