18K September French Month Pendant Charm, Belle Epoque Pendant, Art Nouveau Charm c. 1900

I'm so pleased to have found one of these rare 18k gold Art Nouveau medals. Bearing the word "Septembre", which means September in French it can be used to commemorate a birthday, wedding anniversary, baptism, or any special date of your liking. It is decorated with a beautifully crafted wreath frame and an interior which is crowned with a clear round cut paste stone. The details on these old pieces ares o easy to fall in love with and I'm particularly fond of the green gold leaves which contrast the gold very well. The medal measures approximately 2 mm across but weighs only 1.5 grams so it's a bit thin and the attachment to the bail has worn a bit thin with time and will need to be treated with care. It is in otherwise excellent condition and would make a lovely gift or a sentimental piece for yourself.
