Dripping with luxury and elegance, this gorgeously crafted Art Nouveau locket is encrusted with a central rose cut diamond. The detailing would have required a very skilled hand as repousse work is made by delicately chiseling the interior to make the low relief design visible from the front. Perfectly symmetrical with a mix of geometric and whimsical swirling floral designs this is a one of a kind piece which would easily become a favorite of your collection. I've left the tarnish as it really helps the features stand out and makes them more visible when worn but can polish before sending upon request. The diamond measures 3 mm across and is firmly embedded in the locket so you will not lose this precious embellishment. The back has very light denting, visible in photos and the video. The locket closes from the top and while it closes securely with a snap it's one quirk of time is that the alignment is slightly to the right so you will need to manually slide it slightly when closing to get a secure 'click'. Once the locket is closed it holds well and can be used to hold a picture or special memory. The locket contains a photo which is easily removable if you would like to replace it with something more personal. We love lockets for their sentimentality and timelessness and this is a crown jewel for any collector.
