44" Antique Textured Silver Long Guard Chain with Rolo Links, French Victorian Muff Chain, XIX century necklace

This absolutely stunning silver filigree chain is the work of a talented silversmith. Featuring refined and delicately worked textured rolo links which have been joined together, the chain can be worn doubled with the bolt ring or wrapped twice to hang a pendant, as pictured. Textured links showcase the amount of work and craftsmanship that went into each individual link and the mastership to put it all together. The links are in excellent condition and the necklace is hallmarked with a boar's head, guaranteeing at least 800 minimum silver. It comes in at slightly under a full long guard length, 110 cm, so could be wrapped twice but likely not three times.

All links have been inspected for wear but remain in excellent condition. The spring ring is strong with good tension and alignment.
