46" Antique Silver Long Guard Chain, French Belle Epoque Silver Filigree Chain

This beautifully detailed silver filigree chain features textured navette links filled with filigree work and connected by trace chain. In excellent condition with very strong and shiny links, it is a beautiful antique addition to any collection. The chain has been hallmarked with two crab punches, guaranteeing at least 800 silver purity and assayed in one of the French departments. It likely at one point had a hanging long guard chain but that has been replaced by a vintage spring ring which has excellent tension and alignment. A lovely piece that would look great mixed and matched with other chains or stands well on it's own with its delicate construction and detailed work.
