60" Antique Gold Filled Longuard Chain, Victorian Long Muff Gold Chain with Teardrop Links c. 1900

I adore this style of specialty chain and it's even more special to find it in a full length long guard made of thick and high quality gold fill. This one not only reaches a full length of over 60 inches but the details on this piece are amazing. From the finely worked filigree, to the teardrop shape of the links, and both the dog clip clasp and spring ring closures. This is a versatile piece that can be wrapped two or three times and would look lovely mixed and matched with other chains. It is in very good condition with light gold loss the the central teardrop links, on the swivel clip clasp, and on some connecting links, but the chain remains overall very shiny and beautiful. It makes an excellent statement piece that would elevate any outfit.
