Antique 12K Gold and Silver Dangle Earrings with Paste Ruby and Paste Stones, Italian Art Deco Drop Earrings c. 1920

These lovely and dramatic Art Deco era earrings are as unique as they are unforgettable. Crafted from 12 K yellow gold and high quality silver, they are embedded with rose cut 'paste', a glass gemstone substitute which was used to give the appearance of rare and expensive gem stones. They are in excellent condition and contain a lever back closure which latches securely so that you won't lose this lovely statement piece. They bear Italian hallmarks and were likely crafted around 1920/1930. They weigh approximately two grams each; they are light enough to be worn comfortably during a long day yet big enough to make a lasting impression. There is light wear consistent with age and use but they will be able to accompany you for many years to come.

Please note the stones are not diamonds, but imitations, although it is very difficult to tell the difference for an untrained eye.
