Antique 14K Solid Gold Opal, Pearl, and Diamond Bangle Bracelet c. 1900

Antique 14K Solid Gold Opal, Pearl, and Diamond Bangle Bracelet c. 1900

This charming and unique bracelet was crafted in the Edwardian era circa 1900. It features a buttery gold patina that can only come with time. We love it's simplicity; it is not ostentatious but has unique elements that make it a timeless companion piece for any outfit. It features a central rose cut diamond surrounded by five opals forming a pansy. In the language of flowers, pansies were often used as a romantic gift as it sounds like the French word for think, "pense", urging the wearer to "think of me". The bracelet closes with a box clasp, and is reinforced by a security latch. The bracelet is solid 14k gold, hallmarked with a 585 for 14k purity.

CONDITION NOTES:
The bracelet has been recently inspected for wear and all prongs pearls and opals are securely set. There are light bangs and scratches from age and use but the clasp closes securely. The bracelet is for a smaller wrist. My wrist measures 6.25 inches and it fits well but is a little snug going over my hand.
