Antique 18k Beveled Glass Victorian Round Locket with Elegant Frame c. 1890

What treasure will you guard preciously with this stunning round Victorian locket? Fixed with a solid gold screw top frame, these two pieces of thick beveled glass have been cut to perfection to guard a piece of lace from a baptism, pressed flowers from a wedding bouquet, or maybe a piece of lavender from a beloved trip. These lovely lockets are getting harder and harder to find in good condition as glass is so fragile and with time there are far fewer available. There are visible scratches to the glass but no chips and a sturdy frame; it has been carefully carried through the ages. The beautiful frame has been meticulously crafted by a talented goldsmith and features lovely open work. The top screws on to hold the contents of the locket securely in place.The top screws off and the two round glasses scan be removed to sandwich a special memory. The locket is hallmarked with an eagle head on the bail, guaranteeing at least 18K gold purity.
