Antique 18K Gold and Platinum Old European Cut .3 carats Diamond Drop Earrings, French Art Deco Dangle Earrings

Antique 18K Gold and Platinum Old European Cut .3 carats Diamond Drop Earrings, French Art Deco Dangle Earrings

These stunning drop earrings were crated in France during the early Art Deco period, around 1920. They feature two old European cut diamonds, held in a platinum setting. The face of the earrings is a thin platinum overlay on 18K gold. The diamonds are securely held in a prong setting, suspended from smaller rose-cut diamond accents. The larger diamonds measure approximately 3.1 x 3.1 x 2.25 mm for a carat weight of about .14 each, or approximately .3 total carats, including the rose cuts. These timeless earrings blend elegance and history, making them a classic addition to any jewelry collection.

CONDITION NOTES:
The earrings open and close securely on a functioning hinge. There are light micro-scratches and wear to the earrings consistent with age but nothing of note. The diamonds are in good condition and well set.
