Antique 18K Gold Emerald Diamond "Toi et Moi" Ring, Belle Epoque Platinum Setting

Delicate and refined, this beautiful Belle Epoque piece makes the perfect stackable ring. It features a beautiful green emerald flanked by two single cut diamonds. The gemstones are set in platinum while the band of the ring is high quality, shiny 18k gold. It was typical of the period to set diamonds in a white metal as this increased their brilliance and made them appear larger. The ring would make a lovely engagement ring or a comfortable stacking band.

CONDITION NOTES:
There are micro-scratches to the gold. The prongs are well positioned to hold the gems in place securely. The ring is hallmarked with 18ct and plat for 18k solid gold and platinum on the interior band while it is marked with an owl, a French import hallmark, on the exterior band.
