Antique 18K Gold Garnet Drop Earrings, Belle Epoque Foxtail Design

Unique, eye catching, and detailed, these lovely earrings are the perfect size to wear comfortably but make an impression. They are centered with a beautiful deep, purplish red garnet gemstone. The earrings have an engraved frame embedded with half pearls which surrounds the central garnet. The use of overlapping three dimensional frames and shapes adds a lot of visual interest. They have a swan neck closure which makes putting them on and taking them off very easy.

CONDITION NOTES:
There is light denting to the detailing of the earrings, visible in photos and the video. The garnet has very light wear, consistent with age and use, including a scratch to one face. The earrings are hallmarked with two owls on the swan neck, a re-mark guaranteeing at least 18k gold purity.
