There's nothing more classic than simple and elegant pearl earrings. Light and comfortable, they feature a lovely white gold halo surrounding a natural half pearl. The rest of the earrings are crafted from rosy, buttery 18k gold which has the lovely antique patina that can only come with time. They are over 100 years old and crafted around 1910-1920. Known as sleeper earrings, they were so called as they were comfortable enough to sleep in, although I don't recommend it these day as the hinges and latches are quite old and delicate. They have a closure popular in the first half of the 20th century in which the back loops through the back of the ear and attaches to the rivet at the top. They do take some practice to get used to and I recommend using your dominant hand to hook the top latch, but once you get the hang of it it and the earrings are in place they old very securely. They are quite small, so check the measurements to see verify if they would fit.
