Antique 18K Gold Rock Crystal Shaker Locket, French Napoleon III Pendant

This stunning and unique oval shaker locket features very thick rock crystal (clear quartz), cut to perfection. Something I love about these old pieces is how sentimental they are. They would be the perfect, romantic anniversary gift filled with pressed flowers from a wedding bouquet. They can also commemorate a special moment, for example storing a piece of lace from a baptism gown. And of course, it looks stunning on its own as well. Getting passed down all the way from the Napoleon III period, these shaker lockets are understandably in short supply as they are made of fragile materials. CONDITION NOTES:
The locket closes well for age with no noticeable wear to the facets or scratches to the crystal faces. It doesn't fly open when worn but doesn't have an extremely secure latch.
