Delicate and refined, this beautiful piece makes the perfect engagement ring. Featuring a European cut sapphire, white half pearl, and rose cut diamonds, this lovely ring was crafted at the end of the 1800s. The crossing sapphire and pearl are designed in the 'toi et moi' style, or 'you and me'. Popularized by Napoleon who gifted his betrothed Josephine a diamond and sapphire toi et moi ring, it symbolizes the union of two souls and became widespread during the Belle Epoque period. The band of the ring is crafted in 18k rose gold and the sapphire and diamond are laid in grey gold which has been inset with six small rose cut diamonds. A gorgeous piece that is the definition of French chic. An eagle head hallmark is visible on the band, visible in photo ten, guaranteeing at least 18K gold purity. Although the band size is small, it can be resized for an extra fee.
