Delicate and refined, this beautiful piece makes the perfect engagement ring. Featuring two lovely round cut pink sapphire gemstones, this lovely ring was crafted around 1910. The ring is designed in the 'toi et moi' style, or 'you and me'. Popularized by Napoleon who gifted his betrothed Josephine a diamond and sapphire toi et moi ring, it symbolizes the union of two souls and became widespread during the Belle Epoque period. The band of the ring is crafted in 18k yellow gold and the ring is accented with platinum. A gorgeous piece that is the definition of French chic. An eagle head hallmark is visible on the band, visible in photo ten, guaranteeing at least 18K gold purity.
