Antique 18K Solid Gold French Box Snake Chain Necklace c. 1880

Crafted around 1880, this intricate Victorian snake chain has a unique boxy shape. It feels thick and heavy in hand with articulated moving pieces. It pairs perfectly with an antique locket, as show, or stands as a lovely every day wear piece on its own.

CONDITION NOTES:
The piece has been repaired in a few places, which shows as thicker, smooth gold areas visible in photos and in the video. The clasp is a replacement. Note that the length is shorter than in photos because the mannequin is smaller than a person. Please check the measurements for an accurate idea of length and fit.
