Antique 18K Solid Gold Guilloche Round Locke, French Victorian Engine Turned Locket

A beautiful addition to any collection, this round locket displays a level of skill and craftsmanship that is a testament to the meticulousness of its maker. With an engine turned background, floral and scroll detailing has been hand chiseled into designs on both sides of the locket. The gold is very thin, so to add the detailing without puncturing the piece is quite impressive. They certainly knew what they were doing.

CONDITION NOTES:
The locket is in good condition, but as the gold is thin, it will need to be handled with care. The piece is in closes securely but bears some denting from time and use. It has been priced accordingly but deserves a second life and to be worn and appreciated again.
