Featuring a shiny yellow gold band with a lovely 'toi et moi' crossed pearl, this ring was likely used as a wedding band or an engagement ring over one hundred and fifty years ago. 'Toi et moi' rings became a popular romantic choice after Napoleon gifted his beloved a sapphire and diamond 'toi et moi' engagement ring in 1796, a style trend which persists today. The addition of green gold leaves, beautifully crafted, adds an extra romantic element to the piece.
CONDITION NOTES:
The ring has not visibly been resized. It has light micro-scratches consistent with age but has no visible repairs or soldering marks. It is hallmarked with an eagle head, guaranteeing at least 18K gold purity, and a maker's mark H.F.
