This lovely antique curb bracelet was crafted during the Edwardian period, c. 1910. Classically English in style it bears the makers mark LW&C on the padlock as well as the purity mark 9ct. Traditionally, 9ct gold was cut with copper which gives it a lovely rosy gold color much subtler than rose gold produced today. The heart padlock is a romantic and whimsical touch which opens and closes by lightly applying pressure to the hinged top portion. It is accompanied by safety clasp so you don't lose this lovely heirloom piece. The curb links were crafted from an antique technique with a hollow interior which renders the bracelet light, airy, and wearable.
CONDITION NOTES:
There is light tarnish and wear to the links visible in photos and videos. This is likely for a larger wrist. I would recommend it for a wrist over 6.25 inches around or plan to have a few links removed at a jeweler of your choice.
