Antique Art Deco 18K Solid White Gold Earrings with Rock Crystal, French Dormeuse Trembleuse Drop Earrings c. 1920
These lovely little drop earrings feature four rock crystal stones in a white gold buttercup setting. Hallmarked with two eagle heads which guarantee at least 18k gold purity, they are high quality examples of the craftsmanship from the Art Deco Period. The stones are round brilliant cut. Rock crystal is a clear quartz which was a common diamond substitute in antique jewelry. Measuring approximately 4.75 mm across, the larger stones weigh approximately .32 carats. The smaller stones measure approximately 2 mm across. The top of the lever-back latches into the hinge to hold securely and make sure you will not lose these beautiful earrings. They would make a wonderful bridal 'something old'.
CONDITION NOTES:
The earrings are small and comfortable to be worn daily. I always zoom in on photos to show details, but please do check the measurements to get an accurate idea of size as they are on the petite side. The earrings have strong latches and the stones are in good condition with no wear under magnification.
