Antique Art Deco Calibrated Sapphire Ring

This unique Art Deco ring was crafted around 1920 and features ten calibrated synthetic sapphires which fan out around a central, transitional cut diamond. The sapphires are in turn framed by twenty four rose cut diamond chips. The overall impression is timeless but unique. The ring weighs in at a comfortable four grams and is a low profile which makes it practical to wear. Hallmarked with an eagle head and dog head, indicating 18k gold and platinum respectively, the ring is a high quality example of Art Deco craftsmanship. The central diamond weighs 0.16 carats and measures approximately 3.4 mm in diameter.

CONDITION NOTES:
The ring is in good antique condition consistent with age and use. There are micro-scratches to the gold but no eye visible wear to the facets. Check the size as the ring is small but could be re-sized by a jeweler of your choice.
