It's rare to find a 'tank' ring so understated and feminine. I love the playful mix of styles here as tank rings are inherently impressive and imposing while this ring has been scaled down with delicate features to make a flattering and unique accessory. Forged from high quality gold fill around the turn of the century, it is centered with a paste stone measuring 2.5 mm. Paste stones, or glass which has been polished to shine like a diamond, were used as a diamond substitute for centuries.
CONDITION NOTES:
As paste is not as hard as a diamond there is some scratching to the facets where the table meets the crown, consistent with age. The ring also has some gold loss consistent with age and visible in photos and the video. It has been priced accordingly
