Antique Art Nouveau Lily of the Valley Glass Back Locket c. 1900

This unique locket is perfect for a sentimental keepsake. The front features lily of the valley flowers, crafted with green gold leaves, which represent a "return to happiness" as the plant blooms in early spring. A popular style during the early 20th century, the back of the locket has a beveled glass pane which is held together by a golden frame and a screw on top. The top of the locket can be removed and the front and back taken apart to place a picture or piece of flowers or lace, depending on your needs. A lovely piece with a rich history, waiting to be personalized.

Condition notes:
There is light oxidation to the front which can be cleaned off with some warm, soapy water. There is also light denting to the front, consistent with age and use. See photos and video for details.
