Crafted in the Edwardian period, this 9k five stone opal ring is elegant and timeless. The play of colors is striking, as they are a deep blue with flashes of orange, green, and yellow. Opals are cut in a cabochon which really allows their colors to take center stage and the 9 carat setting creates a strong and complimentary base to enhance their warmth. The ring stretches generously across the finger creating a nice spread and good coverage. The central oval measures approximately 7 mm x 5 mm while the smallest measures 2 mm x 2 mm. The classic October birthstone, it is also sometimes given to commemorate the 14th year of marriage.
CONDITION NOTES:
The ring is in very good condition with no noticeable wear to the opals. The band has micro-scratches from age and use but nothing to take away from the charm of the piece. The band is hallmarked with a shamrock and an indistinguishable maker's mark.
