This high quality gold fill drapery necklace is so named because it drapes beautifully across the collarbone. Made in the Art Nouveau style, seven large triangle links are filled with decorative swirling filigree embellishments. Each link has been inspected for wear but remains sturdy and in excellent condition.
CONDITION NOTES:
There is light gold loss to some connecting links but nothing to take away the beauty of the piece. The original spring ring has been replaced by a gold filled lobster clasp which has good tension and alignment. The necklace remains a stunning example of Art Nouveau work that is as lovely today as the day it was made.
