This lovely long silver chain is the perfect length. Likely cut down from a long guard chain, it has a replacement bolt ring which is in good working order with good tension and alignment. The links are beautifully crafted to make a three dimensional effect and remain in excellent condition. This is a sought after style, and for good reason. It's impressive to think that such an intricate design was created without the use of modern tools and this chain miraculously does not have squished or disfigured links. Although the hallmarks have been worn with time the chain has been tested for a minimum 800 silver purity, standard for the period.
