Antique French Silver Filigree Necklace with Flowers

This unique fancy chain is made of high quality gold 800 silver and comes from the early half of the 20th century. It attaches with a spring ring at the neck. It extends to 56 cm or 22 inches and remains in good vintage condition. It is a very shiny and refined necklace which can be mixed and matched with other chains or which is impressive enough to stand alone. This is a sought after style, and for good reason. It's impressive to think that such an intricate design was created without the use of modern tools and this chain miraculously does not have squished or disfigured links. The chain has accumulated a patina of time as it makes the features pop and stands as a unique testament to the history of the piece. The chain is stamped with a crab on the back of the floral links which guarantees a minimum 800 silver purity, standard for the period.
