Antique French Silver Filigree Station Necklace, Vintage Art Nouveau Chain Necklace

This unique and elegant Art Nouveau era necklace is sure to turn heads. Worn as one long 'sautoir', this station necklace has thick and heavy trace chain which is punctuated by stunning filigree navette links. The details are a true testament to the craftsmanship of the maker. I love the twisted exterior, milgrain beadwork, and the raised center. As the links are thick and strong, they have no notable wear and the spring ring closure is in excellent condition with good tension and alignment. It is hallmarked for at least 800 silver purity, hallmarked with a weevil, which was used for imported Art Nouveau pieces at the end of the 19th century.
