Antique French Victorian Silver Vermeil Bracelet, Vintage French Floral Bangle Bracelet with Box Clasp Draft
Antique French Victorian Silver Vermeil Bracelet, Vintage French Floral Bangle Bracelet with Box Clasp Draft
The details on this piece are just marvelous. The front features a spray of flowers which have been crafted to shine like diamonds interspersed with rose gold vermeil and a pierced, openwork lace design. The back is smooth and shiny. Crafted from high quality 800 silver, the bracelet is hallmarked with two boars' heads and a maker's mark on the box clasp. Although the box clasp is strong an in good condition the original security chain is also present. Personally I love how it's thinner than the majority of bangles in the aesthetic style and can be worn comfortably. It does have some patina on the interior band but remains shiny and an absolutely lovey example of craftsmanship of the time. As is often the case with jewelry from the era, the bracelet is on the small side, so it good to verify with measurements. It fit me well and I have an average wrist size so it is not prohibitively small.
