Antique Georgian 14K Solid Gold and Pearl Halo Photo Shaker Locket c. 1820

This charming antique locket was crafted during the Georgian era around 1820. A central glass is surrounded by a halo of natural seed pearls, which are likely original to the piece. As there is a small space between the opening "hatch" and the glass front, it can be filled with tiny gemstones to create a delicate “shaker locket,” or used to house a cherished memento.

The pendant measures 29 x 21 x 5 mm (including the jump ring) and weighs 3.97 grams. It has been re-marked for sale as 14k gold.

CONDITION NOTES:
This locket is in excellent antique condition, showing light wear consistent with its age. All seed pearls are intact and appear to be original. The jump ring shows minor signs of wear but remains secure and ready to wear.
