Antique Georgian Garnet Clasp in 14K Solid Gold c. 1830

Dating from circa 1800–1810, this exquisite Georgian tongue and groove clasp is a beautiful example of early 19th-century craftsmanship. It has been marked for re-sale as 14K gold with a shell hallmark. At its center lies a stunning natural pyrope garnet, foil-backed to enhance its rich, glowing hues. It shine a deep burgundy red that shifts with the light. Handcrafted to accommodate beads or fine chains, it offers versatile elegance. The clasp is secure and remains in excellent antique condition.
