Antique Gold Filled Art Nouveau Round Locket, Antique French Locket c. 1900

Charming and unique, this gold filled round locket was made during the Art Nouveau period and features a lucky clover embellishment on the front with green paste stones. The front of the locket is surrounded by a decorative border and closes securely from the top with a satisfying snap to keep your photos and memories safe. There is light gold loss close to the top of the locket with some light scratches but it remains very shiny and in excellent condition. The reverse is smooth for personalization or engraving with light gold loss and a dent, consistent with age and time and visible in photos. Still the locket remains a darling example of craftsmanship of the era.
