This uniquely shaped Victorian hexagonal photo locket features two beveled glass inserts which are held in place by an 18k frame. The reed and crosshatch design was a popular mark of the era symbolizing affection and fidelity. The top screws on to hold the contents of the locket securely in place. You can be creative about what you would like to store. A dried flower from your wedding bouquet? A piece of lace from a baptism? A lock of hair from a child's first haircut? Numerous possibilities await you for this sentimental gem.
CONDITION NOTES:
Although the frame and screw top are in excellent condition, there is wear to the glass consistent with age. Both sides have visible scratches, visible in photos and the video. All signs of time make the locket more unique and are a testament to its history.
