A shimmering symbol of faith and grace, this beautifully crafted Virgin Mary medal has been carved from mother of pearl and adorned with a halo of rose cut diamonds. CONDITION NOTES:
This medal is in excellent antique condition with a smooth reverse which can be engraved to commemorate a baptism or communion. Platinum in French jewelry was not hallmarked until 1913 but the pendant has been acid tested for platinum content. The pendant is hallmarked with an eagle head on the back which has been mostly worn with time, yet legible to a trained eye. It is a one of a kind piece from a bygone era.
