Antique Round Edwardian Floral Synthetic Ruby Pendant in 18K Solid Gold c. 1900

There's something so special about early 20th century jewelry. Whether it's the beautifully curved lines, the delicately worked details, or the bright sparkle of the gems, there is always something unique to give a 'coup de coeur'. This round pendant features a reed and crosshatch frame which surrounds a lovely symmetrical flower. In the middle lies a synthetic mixed cut ruby which measures approximately .25 cm and weighs roughly .05 ct. The white gold accents lend a nice touch of contrast, typical of the era.

The pendant is in excellent antique condition with no notable wear and a strong bail. It is a high quality and beautifully worked treasure.
