Antique Silver and Rose Gold Filled Long Guard Fancy Chain, Antique French 1800s Muff Chain

This absolutely stunning silver filigree chain is the work of a talented silversmith. Featuring refined and delicately worked links which are centered with filigree and rose gold fill, the necklace has a hanging bolt ring. It can be worn as a long necklace, doubled or wrapped three times, as shown. It's difficult to find silver chains with rose gold fill as they are understandably in very high demand. This one is a lovely example of the craftsmanship of the time with strong links which are in excellent condition. The necklace is hallmarked with a boar's head, guaranteeing at least 800 minimum silver, standard for continental Europe.

CONDITION NOTES:
All links have been inspected for wear but remain in excellent condition. The spring ring is strong with good tension and alignment.
