Antique Silver Art Deco Paste Ring of French Origin c. 1930

This simple, timeless Art Deco ring is the perfect period piece for your wardrobe. A large, light blue paste stone is flanked by shoulders encrusted with pyrites. Paste stones are leaded glass imitations and have been used in place of precious stones for centuries. They have a rich history and are now often appreciated in their own right. The ring is hallmarked with a boar's head for at least 800 silver.
