Antique Silver Art Nouveau Mistletoe Slide Mirror Pendant c. 1900, French Belle Epoque Locket

This absolutely stunning Mistletoe slide pendant mirror is from the Art Nouveau period and dates from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Hallmarked with a boar's head, it carries a minimum 800/1000 guarantee. It features two interior mirrors with a beveled glass frame. Both mirrors show only very light wear with no foxing or fogging. The Mistletoe motif is visible on both sides with light wear to the silver consistent with age; there are some micro-scratches, but nothing noticeable. Mistletoe represented love and eternal life, as it stayed green throughout the year. It would look simply delightful on a long guard chain but is sure to turn heads however it is worn.
