Antique Silver Filigree Chain, Victorian Silver Filigree French Necklace

This beautifully detailed silver filigree chain features textured navette links filled with unique filigree work and an interior twisted pillar. In excellent condition with very strong and shiny links, it is a beautiful antique addition to any collection. There is a boar's head hallmark on the spring ring, indicating at least 800 silver purity, but the chain was almost certainly cut down from a longer chain and the remaining hallmarks were lost with it. As such, I've acid tested for at least 800 silver purity which was standard for the time period. The spring ring is very old and as such the alignment is a bit off, but when pushed into place it holds securely. A lovely piece that would look great mixed and matched with other chains or stands well on it's own with its delicate construction and detailed work.
