Light weight, airy, and wearable this beautifully wrought filigree necklace is from the early 1900s. Romantically skimming the neckline, in French this style is referred to as a 'ras de cou' and fits as a choker necklace. It features navette links with hand crafted, twisted filigree work. Despite how the delicate nature of the navette links, they remain in good condition and are strong. The chain is hallmarked with two weevils, used for imported silver of at least 800 minimum purity. This is a simple, but beautiful and timeless piece.
CONDITION NOTES:
Despite how delicate the navette links are they are in good condition and strong. The spring ring is also in good working order with good tension and still aligned well with the closure. Do note that one link is missing a small piece of filigree, visible in photo ten, but this is not visible when worn.
