Antique Silver Filigree Necklace Chain

This lovely French chain made of high quality, shiny 800-900 silver, hallmarked on the end ring with a crab, a guarantee used in the departments. It features classic, beautiful navette links with filigree center details. It was most likely shortened from a longer sautoir or muff chain at some point in the past.

CONDITION NOTES: The condition is excellent with no missing detail or wear to the links. It closes with a spring ring at the neck that has good alignment and tension. Do check the length as it skims the neckline and is not very long. It is lightweight and comfortable, but not delicate.
